On Property
June - September
Lake Tahoe's summer brings warm, clear days and calm mornings on the course, timed with the celebrity-filled American Century Championship in July.
Play the back nine in the afternoon — holes 15 through 18 run along the lakeshore and the Sierra light on the water hits a different register after 3pm. In winter, the resort's proximity to Heavenly Mountain makes a ski-and-golf trip genuinely viable across two seasons.
Features &
Amenities
Set directly on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, Edgewood combines a Forbes 4-Star lodge with a tournament-caliber golf course and a gemstone-focused spa that draws on the geology of the Sierra Nevada.

Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course
Originally designed by George Fazio in 1968 and later refined by Tom Fazio, the 18-hole par-72 layout stretches to 7,543 yards from the championship tees with a slope rating of 139. Four finishing holes run directly along the lake shoreline, and a mirror at the 15th tee allows players to check the blind fairway before driving. Ranked No. 1 on GolfPass Golfers' Choice in 2025.

Spa Edgewood Gemstone Rituals
The 8,500-square-foot spa occupies the Lodge's second floor and is the only facility in the Tahoe region offering Gemstone Rituals, using locally sourced Smoky Quartz, Magnesite, and Adventurine stones. The signature Earth Connection Ritual combines aromatherapy, full-body exfoliation, and basalt stone massage. An Oxygen Bar addresses altitude acclimatization — a practical amenity at Tahoe's elevation.

The Edge Restaurant & Lounge
Opened July 2025 under Executive Chef Jon Snyder, The Edge replaced the former Edgewood Restaurant with a refined contemporary American menu anchored by local seafood, elk, and foie gras. The wine program spans more than 1,000 labels, with an emphasis on rare estate vintages and boutique California producers. Floor-to-ceiling lake views extend through a newly redesigned mountain-modern interior.
