The Inn & Club at Harbour Town

Hilton Head Island, SC

A Pete Dye golf shrine, a red-striped lighthouse, and the only Forbes Four-Star hotel on Hilton Head Island

Tucked inside The Sea Pines Resort at the southern tip of Hilton Head Island, The Inn & Club at Harbour Town is a 60-room boutique hotel built around one of golf's most photographed finishes: the par-4 18th at Harbour Town Golf Links, where Pete Dye and design consultant Jack Nicklaus set the green in the shadow of the red-and-white Harbour Town Lighthouse. The hotel has carried Forbes Four-Star status longer than any other property on the island, pairing coastal-plantation architecture and Frette linens with the marina bustle of Harbour Town just steps away. Guests fish, sail and shop from the yacht basin, then return to a serenity pool overlooking the first fairway. Every April, the course hosts the PGA TOUR's RBC Heritage, drawing the pros back to the lighthouse they've made famous.
