The Inn & Club at Harbour Town

Hilton Head Island, SC

A Pete Dye golf shrine, a red-striped lighthouse, and the only Forbes Four-Star hotel on Hilton Head Island

Tucked inside The Sea Pines Resort at the southern tip of Hilton Head Island, The Inn & Club at Harbour Town is a 60-room boutique hotel built around one of golf's most photographed finishes: the par-4 18th at Harbour Town Golf Links, where Pete Dye and design consultant Jack Nicklaus set the green in the shadow of the red-and-white Harbour Town Lighthouse. The hotel has carried Forbes Four-Star status longer than any other property on the island, pairing coastal-plantation architecture and Frette linens with the marina bustle of Harbour Town just steps away. Guests fish, sail and shop from the yacht basin, then return to a serenity pool overlooking the first fairway. Every April, the course hosts the PGA TOUR's RBC Heritage, drawing the pros back to the lighthouse they've made famous.

Life at The Inn & Club at Harbour Town

Three ways The Inn & Club at Harbour Town earns its place among the Lowcountry's most storied addresses.

The Lighthouse and the 18th

No finish in golf is more recognizable: Pete Dye's par-4 18th at Harbour Town Golf Links plays toward Calibogue Sound with the red-and-white Harbour Town Lighthouse standing sentinel behind the green.

Harbour Town Marina

The island's most photographed marina sits just below the Inn, ringed by more than 20 boutiques, waterfront restaurants and a covered pier where sportfishing charters, sightseeing cruises and sunset sails depart daily.

A Forbes Four-Star Address

Set among moss-draped oaks on a coastal-plantation-style property, the 60-room Inn & Club has carried Forbes Four-Star status longer than any hotel on Hilton Head Island.
