The Ritz-Carlton Zadun
Zadun, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is one of only five Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties in the world, set on a pristine stretch of beach in San Jose del Cabo. This ultra-luxury resort combines Mexican artisanal craft with minimalist desert architecture, offering access to the Los Cabos golf corridor and a transformative spa experience.

- Spa Alkemia — 29,535 sqft of desert-integrated wellness including a temazcal, outdoor renewal garden, hydrotherapy pool, and contrast bathing circuits
- Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment program offering guided naturalist expeditions into protected Baja marine sanctuaries
- Gray whale migration viewable from the resort grounds and organized boat tours from November through April
- First Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Mexico, set on 20 desert acres where the Sonoran scrub meets the Sea of Cortez shoreline

Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club · 6th (Norman Course) (Par 3)
A 213-yard par-3 on Greg Norman's nine where the tee sits approximately 40 meters above the green cut into the desert hillside below — the shot fires directly toward the Sea of Cortez horizon with five bunkers guarding the putting surface and two more right of the green. Wind funnels up the slope, making club selection the entire conversation.

On Property
November – May
Baja's East Cape enjoys warm, dry winters with calm Sea of Cortez waters ideal for snorkeling and whale watching, while summer humidity and occasional tropical systems make the shoulder months the clear choice.
Spa Alkemia's Templo de Calor — a contemporary temazcal built into the desert rock — is bookable for private couples' sessions; request it at dusk when the Sierra de Laguna silhouette frames the ceremony. The Ambassadors of the Environment program, run with the Cousteau team, offers private snorkeling expeditions into the Sea of Cortez marine sanctuary.
Features &
Amenities
Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, occupies a 114-acre desert-meets-sea setting in Puerto Los Cabos, distinguished by the Sensei wellness program, three distinct dining venues anchored in Mexican culinary heritage, and access to a 27-hole Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus golf layout.
Sensei Wellness Program
Sensei at Zadun — the brand's first international outpost — organizes its programming around three paths: move, nourish, and rest. Guides with advanced degrees in exercise physiology, mindset, and nutrition offer personalized consultations, and the five-night Optimal Well-Being Program uses WHOOP wearables to track biomarkers and build custom itineraries. Facilities include a savasana room, hydrotherapy pool, movement studio, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor fitness studio overlooking the Sea of Cortez.
HUMO and Zadun's Dining Identity
HUMO, the property's signature dinner restaurant, centers on ancestral fire-cooking techniques and houses a dedicated cellar — the Sotano — with more than 1,000 bottles of Mexican wine. El Barrio operates as the all-day casual anchor with regionally sourced ingredients served on artisan-designed tableware from across Mexico; Wednesday evenings feature a live salsa band. X (Equis) focuses on ceviche and coastal seafood with direct Sea of Cortez views.
Puerto Los Cabos Golf Access
The resort provides preferred access to Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club, a 27-hole facility designed in collaboration by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus, situated along the Pacific-facing coastline minutes from the property. The combination of two distinct design philosophies on one site makes this one of the more architecturally varied golf experiences in Mexico.
