Erinvale Golf Club · 17th (Par 4)
A demanding downhill par-4 stretching to 440 meters from the championship tees, with out-of-bounds hard right and a row of pines pinching the fairway on the left. The elevated tee amplifies any crosswind, and the green offers a sweeping view back up the fairway toward the Hottentots Holland Mountains.

Joining Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa

Erinvale Golf & Country Club is a private membership club on the Erinvale estate, independent of the hotel. The Gary Player-designed course is accessible to hotel guests at preferential rates via the hotel's club memberships, but a full private club membership requires an application with proposer and seconder from existing members.

Erinvale Estate sits within a working golf estate at the foot of the Helderberg mountains, blending a Gary Player-designed course with a newly opened destination spa and a fine dining room earning early recognition for its commitment to South African produce.
Gary Player Golf Course
The 18-hole par-72 layout was designed by Gary Player and opened in May 1995, stretching 6,506 metres from the championship tees across parkland terrain framed by the Hottentots Holland Mountains. The front nine plays through a valley floor with water features; the back nine climbs into the mountain slopes, offering views over Somerset West and False Bay. The course has hosted the 1996 World Cup of Golf, two SA Open Championships (2003 and 2004), and consecutive SA Women's Opens in 2024 and 2025.
Erinvale Spa
Opened in December 2024 and positioned as the first destination spa in the Helderberg Winelands, the facility offers four treatment rooms including a dedicated couples suite, a custom scrub room, sauna, steam room, and a 25-metre lap pool. Product partners include Biologique Recherche, TheraVine, Babor, Esse Skincare, and Thalgo. Sound Bowl Therapy is the property's signature treatment.
Bloom Fine Dining
Opened in October 2025 under Executive Chef Sebastian Smith, Bloom serves four- and six-course tasting menus focused on contemporary South African cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal local produce. The 30-seat dining room, designed by Bone Studio, operates Wednesday through Saturday evenings only, creating an intentionally intimate atmosphere distinct from the property's more casual Oak Terrace and Magnolia Social Dining Lounge.
