Fox Harb'r Resort is an award-winning luxury destination on the coast of Nova Scotia, founded by entrepreneur Ron Joyce. The Graham Cooke-designed championship course offers dramatic ocean views along the Northumberland Strait, complemented by a world-class clay shooting facility, a marina, and exceptional dining.
- Graham Cooke's course shifts from sheltered spruce-lined parkland on the front nine to exposed clifftop links golf along the Northumberland Strait on the back nine
- Tiger Woods holds the course record — a 63 shot during a private event in 2009
- A private Jetport allows direct fly-in access, one of very few golf resorts in Canada with on-property aviation infrastructure
- Deep-sea fishing, clay shooting, marina sailing, and a private vineyard make this one of the most programmatically complete resorts in the country
- The Golf Academy provides structured instruction alongside one of the best-conditioned tracks in Nova Scotia
The Course
- Fox Harb'r Golf Course — 18 holes, par 72, designed by Graham Cooke
Fox Harb'r Golf Course · 14th (Par 4)
A 412-yard downhill par-4 where the Northumberland Strait fills the backdrop and a fairway bunker left of center demands a precise tee shot. The 14th opens a stretch of oceanside holes that represent some of the most distinctive links-influenced golf in Atlantic Canada.

On Property
June - September
Nova Scotia summers are warm and relatively dry, with long evening light and the Northumberland Strait tempering temperatures for comfortable golf.
Arrange a direct arrival via the resort's private Jetport — flying in over the Northumberland Strait sets the tone before you've touched the first tee. The private vineyard's Nova Scotia white wine is a genuine surprise; request a dedicated tasting rather than a casual pour at dinner.

Features &
Amenities
Fox Harb'r occupies 1,100 acres on the Northumberland Strait in Nova Scotia, combining a redesigned 18-hole course with a 25-slip deep-water marina, a private 4,885-foot airstrip, and a spa and wellness centre that opened a full hydro circuit in May 2025.

Ocean Nine and Vineyard Nine
Graham Cooke designed the original championship layout in 2001; a major redesign by Doug Carrick and Tom McBroom introduced a links-inspired Ocean Nine along the Northumberland Strait shoreline, paired with a heathland-style Vineyard Nine through rolling fescue terrain, opening together for the 2025 season. The par-72 layout plays to 7,205 yards; hole 16 requires a tee shot carrying more than 100 yards over open water from an elevated position. Tiger Woods set the course record of 63 at a private event in 2009.

Deep-Water Marina
The 25-slip marina accommodates vessels up to 108 feet on aluminum docks with composite decking, finger docks at six feet wide, and power connections including 220V/100A service. Gasoline and diesel are available by advance reservation. The Lighthouse at the Quay, a separate venue at the dock's edge, serves as the setting for lobster boils and private waterfront events. Vessels must contact the resort before entering the channel.

UNW'ND Spa and Hydro Wellness Studio
The spa and wellness centre added a self-guided Hydro Wellness Studio in May 2025, designed with Canadian firm Core Essence. The thermal circuit includes a bio-sauna with ocean views, aromatherapy steam room, salt inhalation room, cold plunge, crushed ice fountain, and a salt lounge recovery space — all included in the resort fee alongside a junior Olympic-size pool, mineral pool, and hot tub. Signature spa treatments draw on Atlantic marine ingredients; a golf mobility massage is offered specifically for course guests.
