Pebble Beach Resorts

Pebble Beach Resorts is the world's most iconic golf destination, home to the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links — consistently ranked the #1 public course in America and host to six U.S. Opens. The resort includes four world-class courses, three luxury lodging properties, and 17-Mile Drive along the magnificent Monterey Peninsula coastline.

  • Five distinct courses on one property: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay, Del Monte, and The Hay par-3
  • The 7th hole at Pebble Beach — 106 yards, downhill to a promontory green surrounded by the Pacific on three sides — the most photographed short hole in golf
  • Resident bagpiper at sunset on the 18th fairway of Spanish Bay, a Links at Spanish Bay tradition since 1987
  • 17-Mile Drive runs through the resort grounds past Cypress Point, Lone Cypress, and Seal Rock
  • Equestrian and hiking access through the Del Monte Forest alongside Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary coastline

Signature Hole

Pebble Beach Golf Links · 18th (Par 5)

A 543-yard dogleg-left par-5 with the Pacific Ocean crashing against rocks along the entire left side from tee to green. The drive must split a lone cypress tree in the fairway from the cliff edge to set up any chance of reaching in two. Consistently ranked among the greatest finishing holes in golf.

Best Time to Visit

September - November

The Monterey Peninsula's warmest, clearest stretch — the marine layer retreats, prevailing winds calm, and the courses carry less fog than July and August.

LXV Insider

Request a late-afternoon tee time on the Links at Spanish Bay — the resident bagpiper walks the 18th fairway at sunset, a tradition that has marked the end of a round since the course opened in 1987. Pair it with an early morning loop at The Hay for Tom Watson's short-game redesign without a full-round commitment.

Features &
Amenities

Pebble Beach is a 5,300-acre private holding within Del Monte Forest on the Monterey Peninsula, assembled by Samuel F.B. Morse beginning in 1919 on the conviction that the Pacific coastline belonged to a golf course rather than a subdivision. The result is five courses, three distinct resort hotels, a Forbes Five-Star spa, and a calendar of signature events that makes the property a destination across every season of the year.

Pebble Beach Golf Links and Four Courses

Pebble Beach Golf Links and Four Courses

Pebble Beach Golf Links (par 72, 6,828 yards, designed by Jack Neville and Douglas Grant in 1919) has hosted the U.S. Open six times -- more than any other venue -- with the next scheduled for 2027. The estate encompasses four additional courses: Spyglass Hill (Robert Trent Jones Sr., 1966), Del Monte Golf Course (the oldest course in continuous operation west of the Mississippi), The Hay (a Tiger Woods-redesigned nine-hole par-3 course reopened in 2021), and The Links at Spanish Bay (Robert Trent Jones Jr. with Tom Watson, currently undergoing a Gil Hanse redesign).

The Spa at Pebble Beach

The Spa at Pebble Beach

The 22,000-square-foot spa adjacent to Casa Palmero holds Forbes Five-Star status and includes 16 massage rooms, 6 facial rooms, a flotation wrap suite, a salon, and an outdoor pool. All three resort hotels -- The Lodge, The Inn at Spanish Bay, and Casa Palmero -- grant guests complimentary access to the spa facilities during their stay.

Peppoli and the Inn Dining Program

Peppoli and the Inn Dining Program

Peppoli at The Inn at Spanish Bay, created in partnership with Marchese Piero Antinori, serves authentic Tuscan cuisine from a wood-fired exhibition kitchen and holds the widest selection of Antinori wines available outside of Tuscany, recognized annually by Wine Spectator. The Lodge anchors its dining program with Stillwater (California Coastal), The Tap Room (American steakhouse with decades of tournament memorabilia), and The Bench (wood-fired and artisanal).

Signature
Events

Pebble Beach's event calendar is among the most consistently structured of any American resort, anchoring three seasons with distinct signature gatherings that draw international audiences.

Every April

Pebble Beach Food and Wine

A four-day luxury food and wine festival held across The Lodge and Inn venues in early April (2026 was the 15th anniversary edition, April 9-12; 2027: April 1-4), with 50-plus events featuring more than 150 chefs and 150 wineries. Programming includes grand tastings, intimate chef dinners, cooking demonstrations, and wine seminars staged across the resort's event spaces and outdoor fairways.

Every August

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Held on the third Sunday of August on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, the Concours is the most prestigious automotive judging competition in the world, presenting rare and historically significant automobiles for evaluation by expert judges. The 2026 edition (August 16) marks the 75th anniversary with Ferrari as the featured marque; the event anchors a full week of auctions and collector car gatherings across the Monterey Peninsula.
